Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from bloggers as well as the media. She's recorded a variety of well-known song covers, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) The songs have received a lot of praise. Katy Perry's support for the song Runaway via a blog post earned the artist additional appreciation. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering a piano hidden in the attic of her home, and being captivated by the sounds the instrument produced. The parents of her May-Britt family and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as an occupation or pastime but rather to gain experience. To do this, she began writing music that was her own. She points to renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as inspirations, and also a love for Bjork's style. Her decision to begin performing their songs in public after her mom suggested they might help others not to gain fame with her music, but rather to help everyone else realize their own importance and how they have an impact on the world. Her first piano lessons began when she was just six years old, then began composed music by the age of nine. It was not until she turned 14 when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora did not have a set goal. Aurora claims she loves composing songs. Music is for her the ideal way to be able to feel everything.
